Junior Fitness & Inclusion for Primary Schools

Non-competitive movement made for every child.

At The Daisy Collective UK we know that traditional, drill-based school sports don’t work for every student. Under the updated Department for Education guidelines, primary schools must use their ring-fenced funding to create additional and sustainable improvements, specifically targeting underrepresented and disengaged groups.

We partner with schools across Bucks to deliver premium, non-competitive fitness interventions that fit your budget and pass funding audits.

Empower your least active pupils, engage more girls, and deliver truly inclusive SEND fitness.

Mapping our provision against the DfE’s criteria

We have aligned our junior fitness programmes directly with the Department for Education’s Key Indicators, to ensure your spending is fully compliant and your statutory digital reporting return is effortless.

  • Targeting inactive and disengaged pupils (Key Indicator 4). Traditional sports can isolate children who lack confidence. Our “no drills, no pressure” philosophy provides an alternative physical activity pathway. We engage the children who usually dread PE, building lifelong healthy habits without them even noticing.
  • True SEND and neurodivergent inclusion. Every single one of our sessions is built to be fully inclusive from the start. Our classes are carefully structured to support neurodivergent pupils and children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, fulfilling your targeted support requirements.
  • Creating a sustainable legacy (Key Indicator 3). We don’t just take over a lesson. We offer co-delivery and mentorship options where your classroom teachers and teaching assistants work alongside us, gaining the knowledge and confidence to embed inclusive movement into the daily school routine.
  • Collaborating with your SENCO. We don’t just deliver generic fitness; we partner directly with your SENCO to align our small-group sessions with pupils’ individual EHCP targets. By focusing on fundamental movement skills, spatial awareness and sensory regulation, we help you fulfil and evidence your targeted SEND funding commitments.

Our school delivery models

Our targeted, small-group programmes are designed to be highly flexible. Because they sit outside the core curriculum, or focus on specific intervention groups, they ensure 100% funding compliance.

  • During-the-school-day targeted interventions. Fully compliant with DfE guidelines, we run specialised small-group sessions during school hours. These operate as nurture groups or active brain-breaks for children who need extra support with emotional regulation, motor skill development or social confidence outside of standard classroom time. To ensure 100% funding audit compliance, our school-day interventions are designed as additional targeted support and are not used to replace teacher PPA time.
  • Targeted small-group interventions. Bespoke, small-group fitness cohorts designed specifically for your less active demographics. We help you close the activity gap among less active girls, vulnerable pupil groups, and children who struggle with large, loud PE environments.
  • Extra-curricular focus clubs. Small-group breakfast, lunchtime or after-school clubs aimed at children who do not typically sign up for traditional competitive sports teams. Curated separately for:
    • The Young Ones: Year 1 and Year 2 (Key Stage 1)
    • The Middies: Years 3 to 6 (Key Stage 2)

No-stress audit and reporting support

We know how rigorous school business manager audits can be during this funding transition period. When you partner with us, we provide:

  • Transparent, itemised invoicing aligned with DfE guidelines.
  • Pupils’ attendance data and impact metrics.
  • Copy-and-paste impact statements, ready for your school’s mandatory online premium disclosure form.
